    Raul is a co-founder and President at PÔNT and a former PwC Partner. He specializes in M&A and has completed over 40 transactions.

    Recent Experience

     

    Automotive Company Restructuring: Led the restructuring of a large automotive company, increasing its value from $300M to over $600M, and attracting strategic investors. This initiative included enhancing operational and financial performance, implementing new information systems, revamping operations, and bringing in new management focused on profitable strategies rather than cost reductions affecting quality or human resources. He placed a world-class CEO and his team, with over twenty years in the automotive sector.

     

    Cross-Border Transaction: Completed a cross-border restructuring to attract a large acquisition of a Mexican company by a French conglomerate. Additionally, he is one of two partners leading a mega cross-border transaction between an Asian conglomerate and a leading Mexican company.

     

    Global Experience

    Raúl has lived in Italy, Mexico, and the United States and has worked across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He has led top-tier corporate finance and strategic consulting organizations. The cross-border transactions he has handled include combinations between France and Mexico, the United States and Russia, the United Kingdom and Jamaica, Spain and Argentina, and the United States and Ecuador, among others.

    MBA in Corporate Finance: Indiana University in Bloomington.

    BSc in Industrial Engineering: Metropolitan University of Mexico.

    Certificate in Business Negotiations: Yale University.

     

    Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish, with an understanding of Italian and basic knowledge of Russian.
