    Jose is a PONT strategic partner and expert in Corporate Investment Management, Corporate and Financial Restructuring, Financing, Corporate Governance, Investment Strategies and Investor Relations.

    He is a former President of the Mexican Association of Stock Exchange Institutions,(AMIB). The AMIB is a trade union and self-regulatory representative body that associates and affiliates Brokerage Firms, Investment Fund Operators (mutual funds), and three money market brokerage companies (brokers). The AMIB certifies the powers and knowledge that executives who operate and promote securities with the investing public in Mexico must have.

    He also participated in the Board of the Mexican Stock Exchange as a specialguest, the Executive Committee of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), theExecutive Committee of the Foundation for Mexican Entrepreneurship (FUNDEMEX),the International Council of Securities Associations (ICSA), the TechnicalCommittee of the Fuerza México Trust and the Governing Board of the Foundationfor Financial Studies (FUNDEF).

     

    Jose has advised various Mexican companies in aquistions and investment transactions and has numerous connections in the industry; he is also an Independent Director, a member of the Audit Committee at Alto Casa de Bolsa, and a member of the Board of Governors of the Foundation for Financial Studies. Previously, he was a Director of Firmer a brokerage house, and Banamex. He has spearheaded dozens of transactions.

     

    Jose holds an MBA from Colorado University and a specialization from the Institute of Banking and Finance. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is a PONT strategic partner based in Mexico.
